Links
to Files: 78th Division Histories, Maps, some photos etc
Last Update 18-Jun-2009
These files have been selectively uploaded to our main website hosting server at Pacific Online (www.pon.net) and will reside within our web domain of http://www.78thdivision.org/X-Drive-files.htm - - No Password or login ID is or will be required!
Files will be added or rotated as time permits and disk space allows, on our hosting server. We currently have about 250 MB available for documents, maps etc. We also have another 100 MB for general website operations but these bytes must be held in reserve as such. To give you an idea of how much file space we consumed on the AOL X-Drive, we had over 3.5 gigabytes there. So 250 megabytes is just a drop in the bucket so to speak.
Getting files: It is recommended you Do Not Click a link, but right click it with your mouse, and then select "Save Target As". Your computer will prompt you to specify where to save it on your C:Drive. This way it downloads the file 1st, and then you can view it after it has been downloaded using your various viewers like Adobe Reader.
